  • The Nis - Dimitrovgrad Railway line is part of the backbone of the Serbian railway network and Branch section of Railway Corridor X in Serbia wit Sections Nis Bypass (approx. 22 km) and Prosek - Dimitrovgrad (approx. 82 km). The implementation of the Nis - Dimitrovgrad Railway Reconstruction and Modernisation is strategic to the country and to its connectivity with the European rail networks as well as with Middle East. It is one of the most important investments in the extended Core TEN-T. The Contract concerns the comprehensive - Design, Supply and Installation of Signalling and Telecommunication Equipment for the reconstructed and modernized railway line Nis - Dimitrovgrad. The Republic of Serbia intends to finance the Project through the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the EU grant funds provided through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
