Description:
This consultancy aims to support development of a comprehensive guidance on the climate proofing of infrastructure for the local/city level, build the capacity of selected cities to affectively implement this guidance in climate-resilient infrastructure development, and enhance the capacity of the selected cities on resilient sludge and waste management, to guide preparation of short and medium-term plans for extension of rain drainage systems to align with the climate-changed conditions in the cities.The expected results are as follows:•Developed guidance on the climate proofing of infrastructure for the local/city level in a national language all in line with national conditions and EU Commission Notice (2021/C 373/01) Technical guidance on the climate proofing of infrastructure in the period 2021-2027;•Capacities of the selected cities to apply guidance on the climate-proofing of municipal infrastructure and to assess investments in terms of resilient municipal infrastructure planning enhanced. •Enhanced capacity of the selected cities in resilient sludge and waste management, as well as in the development and preparation of short and medium-term plans for the extension of rain drainage systems according to climate-changed conditions.
