Description:
The Contracting Authority aims to conclude a design and build contract with a Contractor, in accordance with FIDIC Contract Conditions for “Plant and Design-Build” (“Yellow Book”), for the comprehensive modernisation, reconstruction, and upgrade of the Section Belgrade (Resnik) - Velika Plana of the Belgrade - Niš railway line. The alignment of the single-track electrified railway line section starts in Resnik passenger station and ends in Velika Plana station with a total length of about 74.1 km. After the reconstruction, this section will be double-track electrified railway line. Most of the route follows the existing railway, but on certain sections a new corridor will be constructed. It is planned that highest category international passenger trains will run at speed up to 200 km/h, and other passenger trains will operate at speeds below 200 km/h, depending on the train category. The design speed both, for passenger and freight trains is 100 km/h in the junctions. The section includes some 28 bridges, 15 overpasses and underpasses and 6 tunnels and 7 stations. The contract scope of work covers (but is not limited to): •Preparation of the design documentation in accordance with the Serbian legislation. •The required Works will be carried out in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of contract for Plant and Design-Build for Electrical and Mechanical Works Designed by the Contractor (Yellow Book), First Edition 1999.
