- Country: Serbia Description of the Assignment: To perform legislative and institutional gap analysis and provide input to the development of the draft of the new Law on Nature Protection, by proposing and assessing the regulatory solutions for achieving Law's goals, in line with relevant national laws and regulations, to achieve compliance with the ratified Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEA) relevant for biodiversity and harmonize with the latest European Union nature protection acquis. To enhance the ability of Serbia and its competent institutions to establish a robust legal and institutional framework for sustainable nature protection, including supporting biodiversity, ecosystems and sustainable resource management.
