- Country: Serbia Description of the Assignment: The purpose of this consultancy is to provide engineering support to the project management team in the implementation of infrastructure upgrade activities at SALW/evidence safekeeping rooms of the General Police Inspectorate of Moldova under the frameworkof the EU COUNCIL DECISION (CFSP) 2022/2321. The engineer is expected to ensure that the infrastructure upgrade activities mentioned above are carried out in strict accordance with the timeline and scope of the designs for work execution and the UNDP contract(s) for the works. In this context, civilengineering expertise is required to carry out the duties described below, following the responsibilities delegated by UNDP SEESAC.To perform security upgrades of the Ministry of Interior/General Police Inspectorates SALW/evidence safekeeping rooms at Police Inspectorates in Moldova, followinginternational guidelines and best practices, that will result in improved security for SALW and related ammunition stockpiles in Moldova.Period of assignment/services: 25 June 2025 30 December2026
